I suppose this belongs in "safety" as much as anywhere.

El camino del Rey - Brightcove

Just how much nerve do YOU have? I'll admit that I'd chicken out about 100 feet PRIOR to the first 'challange'

I'm a wimp

Some of the places where there are holes in the concrete.... sheesh....

I'm a wimps wimp

I'm not ashamed to admit it. That scared the heck out of me just watching it.

Those guys are just plain dumb... Did you see the cable that is fixed 4ft above the path, the whole way along? That is for a safety "clip on" that you can attach your carbiner & lanyard to. The guy with the camera was walking way too fast to be clipping himself in at eash intersection... I say they were extremely stupid to be walking that path without harnesses. Would have made the evening news if the guy with the camera fell through the brittle concrete, now that would be footage I would not care to see...

Awsome scenery though...

There's brave and there's dumb. I'd put this in the latter.

I'd go up there for a good reason, but not for the heck of it.

Brave to my mind is the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan.

But interesting clip. Should have had more bar in that concrete!

I would do that walk in a heartbeat. That looks like a great little hike. I don't have a death wish particulary either. That is just me though. I put my Faith in the Lord. Hiking over snow bridges on Mt. Rainier and being hooked into climbing spurs at 100' in the air is an adrenaline rush that I still enjoy. Although raising my daughter I do weigh my choices more carefully now.:)

Dumb or brave, whatever. But one thing is clear, the guy DOES have some skill. Doing that walk is difficult enough as it is. Doing it while holding a camera, especially on the parts where he is walking the steel beam.... I can't walk on flat ground sometimes without losing my balance.

Think of the original builders, they are the ones I admire.

I would have to think long and hard about going on that walk.

I agree with that 100% now they had some Nards to do that. Can I say that or should it be testicles?

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Although in my spare time I enjoy rockclimbing. That would be a beautiful climb over the water like that.
