How are you guys doing with your Husqvarna TS348XD?

Not exactly. XD still has a choice between Kaw/Kol engines. They do have a couple more horsepower than the D. XD also comes with "fancier" brushguard and has the LED lights whereas the D does not. Nothing that is worth the money IMO. More power would be nice, but not at the cost difference they want and the LED lights don't come anywhere near making up the difference...

I'm getting quotes of a $300 difference from D to XD, and agree, I'll save my $300 and plant a few more chestnut trees this year

I know this thread is a few months ago but I was going to buy the TS348 next spring until I found one with about 50hrs on it at a local dealer. It was also at a good discount so I bought it. So far I am impressed. After a few uses I am very impressed. It moves great and get great traction. It went right up a muddy 2track my old lawn mower would have struggled with.

I believe these are a lot of mower for the price.

They are the most economical K66 based unit on the market.

I have the 54", and anecdotal as it's my first lawn tractor. The locking diff works perfectly and it has enough power to drag all 285lbs of me around my rolling, rocky, rooted NH yard. One season on it so far, it bashes into rocks, roots, stumps and it seems to be holding up ok. Does a nice job cutting but I don't exactly have a ball field type yard. I'm sure the blades must look like **** by now but it still cuts decently and can handle pretty deep/wet grass when needed.

I regret side discharge, but I didn't want to wait on an order for a rear. Side is super annoying having to remember to blow in from the edges a few runs, then reverse, it gets in the way with obstacles. Not sure why they even make them.

Ordered ts348xd the end of Feb. still waiting , dealer says another 2 weeks. ordered with 44 in berco blower, chains and weights, sleeve hitch and box scraper. Could not find a lot of reviews online.but what I did find was mostly positive. I did find some complaints about the frame having problems with front mounted implements, but the berco seems like it has pretty good sub frame, so I decided to go ahead and order one .

I just got my TS354XD about a week ago and I'm loving it so far! This thing is a beast! I've had several different riding mowers/yard tractors over the years, but never anything built like this one. It's a world of difference. I've been coming up with all kinds of random stuff to do around the property just to keep using it. I've heard of the "weak frame" claims and I don't know if they are all true or not, but if it starts showing any signs of it I plan to do a little welding and bracing to fix that little issue. I also have to admit that Husqvarna orange is just down right sexy!!
