Just curious, but how are most pto driven hydraulic pumps anchored so they don't spin around?
Bolted to the tractor, locked into the 3 point hitch (but hitch has no upward resistance?). In some pictures I've seen a lever extend down from the pump that pries against the drawbar. Any good pictures?

Thank you.

(p,s. before the Search Police yell, I did search quickly, but most results concerned flow & pressure calculations, not mounting)

All I have seen are exactly as you described, with a lever of some type against the drawbar to take up any torque from load on pump.

Cheers

google images has some creative ideas

I am not sure if there is a universal way to do it. As all tractors are different in the back end. Different distances to drawbars and bolt holes, etc. But I dont think there is any wrong wy as long as you come up with some piece of metal, bolted somewhere rigid on the tractor, and bolted to the pump.

Not sure if this is what your looking for but here is how I mounted my hydraulic pump for my log splitter.
