And a powerline pole in the middle of the field.

The self operated vehicle must be given the data from all other vehicles that have been in that field. For example, the combine went around that powerline pole. So the follow up tillage tractor knows to not go there.
I’ve got a single power pole in the middle of a 12 acre field. Farmer who rents it has to dodge it. I asked the co-op power company offhandedly about removing and burying the line. Hmmm. At $2 per foot he asked me if it was $20,000 to me. Nope. 😀

ITC has a transmission pole in one of my fields, I just cut and bale around it. No big deal.

Row crops are a tad different. Cotton or peanuts usually. Multiple precise passes per year. 120 foot wide sprayer booms don’t mix well with power poles. Nor pivot irrigation.

This is quite the video of Fords lumbering and lumber mills in the UP of Michigan. Can any say whats' the make of those tractor looking tow machines is?
