Once the town used it on the 4 lane highway when the ice built up to 2+" (back in 96-97) but that's the only time I've seen it for snow use.

Going back in history, here is a great video about the Schumacher barn and that families history in southern MN. They were quite successful farmers but there history is similar to many families who immigrated to the plains of the Midwest.

It seems the Northern Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin area has some very good family history stories. The family heritage and dedication to their farms still continues today.

Yes. It's been two decades since I've saw a Dozer with a V Plow on country roads. Graders are so much more productive now.

A really good video about how corn and soybeans are grown in Iowa. I worked in a little town just west of Bancroft for a while. They talk about costs and the make or break weather, plus the 100's of decisions farmers must make each year.

I find the YT vids interesting and that is about it actually. Strictly entertainment for me. I know what it takes to farm because I do it.
