When you do this... pay very close attention to the right side lift arm at the "tractor pivot point"... with the arm twisted... does it "bind"?... in essence the "bottom stopping" while the top continues lifting causing the extraneous tension at the "weakest" section... your problem area threaded section...

(with the implement off, use a drawbar connected to keep the arms spread, as in a natural lifting profile)

I don't know what draft links are, but if you are referring to the distance between the lower lift arms when attached to the BB, and assuming the JD4300 is a catagory 1 tractor, therein lies your problem. That should be 26", (28" might work).

Yea, when it all started, I decided I'd keep track of all the repairs and such, "little did I know".
It exploded into such a frenzy I lost track myself. Not to mention false repair tickets. This really upsetts me more than anything. If they submitted these "false" tickets to John Deere, then it would make me look really bad "in JD's eye's". This could very well be the reason why JD no longer expressed interest. Im going to request a list of repairs from the warranty headquartes, and explain that Im not sure if my dealers records are accurate. I really cant belive this mess, it goes beyond ludicrous!!
I took it to a job today, and er'thing workin fine, I looked at the lifting arms, and they are working in "unison", "evenly".
Yea, that other post got so long, it started to make me feel ill when I saw it, LOL.
But really, thats not even the whole ordeal, and I'll spare er'one for now. This would make an interesting story line for a movie, maybe throw in a Freddy Kruger and/or christine backdrop,,,,hmmmmn
