$27500 for a L5030HST with QA loader LA853, 6' bucket and joystick. R4 tires come with it. The only extra included in this price is 3 remotes. Top-n-Tilt would add $700 more on top of this.

Other quotes are for a Rhino TW72 cutter for $2179 and a gannon heavy duty 6' box blade with hydrolic rippers for $2450.

The dealer said that for them to add a grapple would require a different bucket, and it would cost a little over $2000 to do something like this. I don't think they have had much experience with grapples on this small of a tractor, but I don't know much about it either.

I was hoping the price would be a few hundred lower, but I still do not think it is too bad. Plus there is the $250 rebate and 0% financing.

Any comments????

Actually, after a second look, I was thinking a really good price for this would come in a little under $26500, not $27500.

I like the dealer and location, but I need to check with another dealer nearby who has been a little lower in the past for me.

Any comments would be appreciated.

I was quoted the exact same price as you for the same tractor and equipment but no remotes but the r4 tires were loaded.I thought the price was high so I am still looking.
Good Luck,
Herb

I now have two additional L5030HST quotes from the two other nearby dealers.

First one is $26,400 with R4s, LA853 QA loader with HD bucket, 3 remotes.

Second one was $28,900 for the same setup.

My three concerns:
1. Cheapest delaer stated some incorrect things about the differences b/w L5030 and L4630. Big dealership, though. I'm not too concerned with support.

2. Different dealers said different things about the existence of rebates. The Kubota site mentions a $200 rebate for revolving credit card customers (???), but nothing else. Does there or does there not exist a $250 rebate other than this.

3. The dealers were not much help with grapple advice.

ScottOKLA, as a comparison (2 years ago) my price was 26,600 for L5030, LA853-QA, Bucket with bolt on edge, two remotes.

I bought a used QA bobcat Grapple bucket for 1K.

Don't forget about the toothbar, you can get it later and it is easy to install prices range from about $250 to $600. Mine was the $600 one because of the bolt on front edge of the bucket and it was super heavy duty. Without the bolt-on-front edge you do not have to worry about the placement of the teeth interfering with the bolts and then you can go with a Markham toothbar, a lot of members like them.

My TW72 was 1,800 before the price of steel went up.

My 72" Gammond BB without the hydraulic sacrificers was 900.

To save a bit, if you do not have heavy brush to cut, the SE rhino would work good , the TW is a heavy mower, sometime I wish I had gone with the SE because I like to pop off the QA bucket when mowing.

Looks like you are getting a good setup!

My father has the TW72 and we have both abused it for years. I could really use one at my place also, but I think something lighter may work better for me.

Does the grapple bucket use a rear remote?

I need to clarify which Kubota bucket is being quoted by the dealers.

Mine does.

Some have also tied it in to the FEL hydraulics at the joystick. There is a setup that you push a button on the joy stick and the diverter valve switches to the grapple when you tilt, release the button and you have the tilt again.

First, there are several grapple kits that are adjustable to fit different bucket widths, one of them being ATI which your dealer can contact. To operate this you need a third function on the loader which can be operated by a rear remote if you have one, or by ading an electric solenoid valve splitter that combines multiple functions from one spool.

As far as rebates, the only current rebates on regular financing or on cash deals are on the BX current models. Some tractors have a rebate tied to the revolving credit and it would make sense if paying cash to use the r.c. for the rebate and then send your check in as soon as the statement arrives.

Thank you all for the input.

I bought on Friday. No box blade, grapple, or tooth bar yet. I really needed the tractor for some fall mowing and will get the other items if/when I research them and make a well-informed decision.
