'I could have died there': Teen saves elderly neighbor using 'Stop The Bleed' training

A quick thinking Iowa teen is being hailed as a hero after saving the life of his neighbor using skills he learned in 'Stop The Bleed' training.

It can be a life changing event for the person being saved and the person doing the saving. Great work on the part of the teenager.

My daughter talked a teenager through CPR to save her dad's life as a 911 dispatcher. He had a heart attack and she was able to keep him going until the police and paramedics arrived. She was able to meet them both and they all ended up on national TV during one of the morning shows. Lots of crying going on during that reunion.

Yep, niece and her friends made national news when they saved the life of a boy cliff jumping and ending face down in the water.

The girls all on High School swim team on a remote day trip…

I think it went national because the country needed some good news at the time of all the race riots in the cities boiling over…

The girls still very close today and keep in touch with the boy…

Good news always welcome.
