Cheez Northland, that must of been some heavy snow for your rig with all that backweighting not to move it like you wanted. How'd the snowthrower do?. By the way, you have some beautiful country there.
arrow-that snow was way too heavy to move with a loader and the loader did better then the blower. The snow is like wet cement now so I am going to have to let it melt. It's been warm (up to 55F) so it won't last long now.
ha-ha-the skidders with chains have all been pulled out of the forest and the tandem trucks are off the highways until the frost is out of the ground as they those trucks ruin the roads otherwise. So, a L4400 wouldn't do me any good now.
So far this winter none but hoping to get a little time tuesday night and wednesday calling for 4-8inches tues night and suppose to snow all day wednesday. Gotta love the lake effect. Sad thing is that it is suppose to be in the 60's thursday so it wont be sticking around yet.
I just got my tractor this year at the last part of winter. I put around 30 -40 hours in just 3 weeks so this year will be at least triple that.
