Hourly rate for backhoe work

I've got a cat 416 have a customer wanting me to dig a hole an push a old barn in it wats the going rates for backhoe work, I just use it round the house never used it on any jobs before.

In my neck of the woods they get $85-$100

It depends on the job, but I have been averaging over $90 an hour with my Bradco 511 on my 65 hp Mahindra 6520.

if the barn looks any bit tricky to push over and knock down then $85-$100 per hour seems right. some of those old barns can be dangerous when trying to bring down. if it doesn't look to hard to do then maybe closer to the $85 or slightly less range. remember those guys doing it proffesionally should be insured so that makes a difference in price sometimes.

I have seen the county fire department start old structures on fire for practice. I assume they are not practicing starting fires but practicing putting them out.
