It seems like whenever we have really cold weather, below zero, I have a hard time getting the Cub to start. This particular model is an 1872 with the 18HP Magnum. I keep a trickle charger on it and it turns over fine but there is no evidence of spark, then I end up flooding it.

So my question is, does really cold weather effect spark on the Magnum series. Maybe there is the smallest of tolerance change on the magneto?

In the past, I just resigned myself to putting a heater in close proximity to the tractor, come back in an hour and she fires right up!
