just purchased a 2008 3200 - 25hp / 60 in deck. Wife noticed what seemed like a lot of heat blowing back in the face of the operator -possibly from the hood louvers. Our 1810 seemed to exhaust the heat out of the front. Also the Simplicity Legacy 25hp /60in deck we just sold did not have this much hot air on the operator. Is there a way to safely divert this heat from the operator?

We have the same machine but a 2007 model. Heat blowing back on the operator hasn't been a problem. I would start by looking at all the side panels, heat sheld over the exhast on top of the engine to make sure they are correctly installed. After every thing is checked out and there is still a problem I would talk to the dealer about the problem.
