Do ya'll have any good way of securing the hydraulic hoses on the loader so that they don't end up rubbing on the front tire? The dealer had a rubber strap securing them to the loader arm, but it seems like I'm re-adjusting the strap constantly on my TC 29.

Well Bigfinn, I couldn't believe it when the dealer delivered my cousin's TC29 with that rubber strap to hold the hoses. I thought surely New Holland didn't intend to have that sloppy looking arrangement, but maybe that's standard equipment on the TC29. Anyway, we haven't figured out a better way yet, but there's got to be one, surely.

Bird, that was my initial thought also. It seems like the quick connect hoses keep rotating either toward the engine compartment or the front wheel. The dealer did mention something about the rubber strap being a genuine NH part. Of course I thought he was kidding. Hmmm.

My TC 25 with the 7308 loader came with the same rubber bungee cord, but I haven't had to touch it or had any problems with the hoses. The only reason I can think of that they would use something like that would be in case you forgot to remove it while removing the loader, the bungee would stretch and probably break before any damage was done to the hydraulic hoses (?) But either way, it looks like it's "standard" equipment for all TC's with that loader.

My 2120 with the 7309 loader has the same genuine NH black rubber strap. I had to do some readjustment to it, but have finally got it to the point that the hoses stay secure.
I don't like using the rubber bungie cord. Once I forgot it was hooked up and started backing away from the loader as I was dismounting it.....holy cow....a big snap and I could see that it could have easily taken out an eye if someone was nearby. I think there is something better than an bungee but no one has told me or showed me a better way.

Carelessness is always a potential danger. A bungee is the factory method of securing the excess hose needed for the designed remove/install of the loader. I have used heavy-duty zip-ties as well when a bungee was not available. Better to trash a bungee or zip-tie than break a hose or 4.
