Hose Connection question

When you're not moving and turn the wheel lock-to-lock right to left, for example, the two left wheel roll towards each other and the two right wheels roll away from each other. If the two left wheels were connected in series, how could they roll towards each other? There's got to be some sort of relief or cross hose in there somewhere. Some day I'm gonna trace every stinking hose on my machine and see what's what.

If you are digging around, the cross connect is a small aluminum Tee block at the rear wheel motors.
