I found myself playing in a horseshoe tournament yesterday. The following comments may be useful for either real good, or like me, real bad players. Actually, I'm far worse than a bad player.

1. Have you got to hold windage on these things?

2. What size horse did these come from?

3. Oh, it's downhill. Forgot to bring my sights down.

4. No, that wasn't short. I thought the shoe came from a mudder.

5. No points? I'm sure I heard it ring.

I've got to play another tournament next month. Maybe I can get some help here.

Sorry I can't help you for my horse shoes always seems to roll down the bank into the woods,/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif but at least we have a good time and thats what counts./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

TomG, in our family, we don't do two things, Bowl, or pitch horse-shoes! My wife has habit of making people scatter real sudden like by not releasing the object until it is traveling in a perpendicular manner to the earth. With her around, I'm not sure a motorcycle helmet would be enough of a safety margin!
