Curious...how Mahindra achieves the different H.P. ratings on the Max series 24, 25 and 26 using the same 80 C.I. engine? I have the Max 24.

It's also the same engine in the 1526. I'm no diesel tech, I believe it's just detuned to achieve different horsepower ratings. Maybe different sized injectors, different fuel pressure and so on. I have a Max 24 too. Nice little tractors, enjoy. Donnie

Thanks Donnie. I believe you are right. I guess I'm mainly interested in the hyd filter reference and whether or not I can get that at my local parts house.

It appears there is no xref. No one has ever posted that they've found one. I know I've looked really hard for one to no avail.
