Guys,
I finally had my buddy weld hooks on my bucket. Now I have some painting to do. Has anyone had to pick up a can of Kuobta orange spray paint?? I was wondering how much they get for one. I suppose it must be Kubota brand to match.

Paint for Kubota is about 6 dollars a spray can.
Some TBNer’s have found paint at TSC that matches. Check out this link.

Don't know where I bought it, but I wish I did! Only cost a dollar or two...

This is a pretty good match...not exact, but good enough for my taste... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Tremclad orange works for me. Perfect match. The only problem with it is that it takes a long time to dry. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

That $6 per can doesn't seem to bad. I touched up my old Scag before I sold it, and Scag orange is about $14 per can, and all the dealers only stock one can.

When my tractor was delivered, the dealer gave me 2 cans of spray paint. The brand name was TEMCO, the color was Allis Chalmers orange. Sounds like a wierd match for a Kubota, but i think it is almost an identical to Kubota orange. I purchased a can of Kubota orange from TSC was close but not as close as the TEMCO paint.

I got a can of Orange from my dealer when I purchased the tractor and tried it on a scratch on my snow blower. It didn't match very well. Now I am going to have to hide that side of the blower until I can get the color to match.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I bought the Ace Hardware's Allis Chalmers orange in the spray can and it matched perfectly. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Allis Chalmers orange is the ticket. A perfect match. Large spray can cost me 3.47. What a deal!

How about the Grey? Is there a match out there of it?

Is it normal to get a can or 2 of spray paint from your dealer upon purchase?

-Just curious. My 7610 nasn't arrived yet. And I'm wondering if I should "expect" it?

WayneW -

I didn't get any with my 7610 - I think the price is $3-5 / can at the dealer IIRC. The only thing that is really taking the *brunt* of paint loss so far is the FEL: the bucket of course - and a bit on the FEL mounting brackets when I try to align tractor to FEL when reattaching.

I didn't see any missing grey when underneath for my 50 hr service - but I guess it depends on what you do. During my *struggle* with the big rock below - it rolled against the front frame below the radiator a few times - I'll need to touch that up. But the bucket is going to keep it's *battle scars* for now - it has a nice softball-diameter dent in one edge from this rock too! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Instead of grinding, welding, and painting on my new bucket, I decided to drill a few holes and bolt on these 4WD truck tow hooks. Cheaper and easier, I thought. About $7.00 a piece at TSC, nice durable chrome finish, plus I added stainless steel hardware from Lowes. Got the idea from another member, but I installed three, so I have one in the middle for certain tasks, and then one on each side to balance things, if needed. The clips are nice for securing chains or straps.

Don't know if it should be expected, but the dealer told me that I will need it on the bucket if I am going to be putting it in storage.
