Hood and sheet metal removel repair for NAA

Hi, I am new to posting (not to the forum) and just picked up a 53 NAA (Golden Jubilee). I was curious if there is anything I should be aware of prior to stripping off my hood and sheet metal to do some electrical repairs, and some other much needed TLC on my new project. Thanks for any guidance and support.

Any headlight wiring present is supposed to be clipped to the drip edge of the hood. RH side IIRC.
