A fella I help out on a farm has this side by side. It just got to running slower and slower as weeks progressed. Now it just idles and won't go. It don't see any abuse. Just driven around farm on mostly gravel triads. It's been replaced because it's a needed item around here. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this problem and that could give me a good place to start looking.

I'm thinking fuel. Seems to run fine, and I rode in it often. It just got slower and slower. Like one week 20 mph. Next week 15 mph, next week 10 mph...so on. It saves a lot of walking, well, it did. It's 100 miles to a Honda place. It don't seem like a TPS problem.

i'd start with replacing fuel filter, check the flow, then check quality of gas. maybe change correct temp sparks... might be worth draining tank in clean container, replace partially with fresh fuel then try. save drained fuel if you think it's ok. surely you are running non ethanol? also check to see if choke operates properly. maybe check air filter as well for restriction, good luck

They like me to fix things there, but I think I'll haul this back to the shop. I know it has been gas canned its whole life. Gas canned farm trucks and tractors seem to get a lot of dirt in the tank.
