Honda 250 r spark gas but no run

I have a honda 250 r it is getting gas and spark but wont run. it keeps fowling the plug. so i replaced the plug and the same thing. it doesnt even try to fire not even on carb cleaner

I don't have much insight. Is the fuel fresh? Was the 2stroke oil fresh?

Is it a quad or a trike? I have an '83 250R trike. I haven't started it in a couple years. It was a fun fast beast. .

Reed valves bad, Carb gummed up, tank full of rust, lots of possibilities. Have you checked for compression with a guage? What is the condition of the 250R?

fuel oil is fresh I do not know of the condition of the carb but got it to fire on carb cleaner about a month ago and when i finally got to it again it did what its doing no i have not checked the compression and the condition is ok it ran about two years sgo it is a quad

Compression sounds low. How many hours on the top end?

not sure mmy uncle rebuilt it including the carb and it had a cracked head so that was replaced and hasnt been driven much since
