I just purchased a rear drive tiller with a 6.5 HP Jiangdong engine. I was wondering if 30W oil is ok for it hear in south Ga. and what weight of oil is needed for the transmission? The manual does not say. Thx guys :

Just mounted the 6.5 Hp. motor from Homier on my Chipper a couple of weeks ago. It's a nice motor for $129. knock off of hondas 6.5 W/o oil shutdown. I put 10w40 in it. I ran it for about 4 hrs. then gave it an oil change. The motor is still running great. as far as the tiller, I would say 90w gear lube. Gary.
Thanks Gary That is what I was going to guess at or maybe a multi weight close to it. That little motor seems to be real powerful. I paid $175 for the tiller ( suppose to have less than an hour on it).
