do a search, i think others have commented. I saw a Homier tiller long distance - they had one at a local show, but it was in a marshalling area that was roped off. Even at a distance I could see why it was 1/2 of what you would expect to pay for a tiller. I like to think I am good to my equipment, and I would not want one of these, after seeing a tiller in action and the abuse they take. Just my thoughts, I'm sure others will weigh in.
P.S. I have alot of clay - rocks where there isn't clay with some occasional loam thrown in to fool you, so this is tough tilling country - your situation may be different.

Mark, how does a rice field tiller differ from a "normal" tiller?

If you have sand then it probalby will work out OK, it looks similar to the unit I have with my jinma tractor, (though mine uses the center gearbox to transfer the rotational forces and that one looks to be a chain drive unit with the chain on the outside edge. the unit I have workts prety dang good. it has taken some nasty abouse and has yet to break a tine even! (knock on wood) I've plowed up soem pretty LARGE rocks with it too, (one was probalby 100 lbs, but was caught by the center harrow point rhater than a tine.) I've hit stuff that was not moveable with tines and it made the hole thing jump out of the ground prety fast. I till in lowest 2 gears in low range, I can literly get off the tractor and walk around it with out fear of it getting away! hahaha. WOT is only about 2 MPH in those gears and lowest is probalby a lot less.

chucko I have a BX1800 to.I bought a 42 tiller from CCI.So far I no complaints.It does a good job.Once you use one I don't think you will go back to the other kind.They told me it would be there on a certain day and it was and if you have any questions they are very helpful.

I would look for a good used piece of equipment.You should be able to find one of those for what you would pay for a new "cheaper" one and it would probally outlast the cheaper one too. Just my 2 cents worth.
