Good job! I was following it at machine builders and it looks orange here too. Not stopping gets you into more trouble than not starting so don't leave it too long for brakes.

Lessee if Photoshop and my very limited experience can save my pride.Dad always warned me about tractor colors. He said to go ask my sister what would happen if I came home with an orange tractor.Told him I didn't have a sister. He said "The girlie that sleeps on the top bunk in your room and captains the football team...Allis".
/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gifIf he starts calling me Kubota....guess I'd have to start listening to rap instead of country....

Just went to the tractor graveyard and picked up another tranny.WheelHorse 8 speed for $60.The engine is a Kohler Magum 20 that came out of a carpet cleaning machine(free). The front axle is actually the rear of a forklift that we junked out at work(free).Looks like it's gonna be around the $200 mark for the tractor...ouch!! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Ok.........my face hurts from smiling. Am I looking at a driveshaft forward? Is this FWD and 4X4? This kind of effort reminds me of my youth, when we run what ya brung, came up with some pretty amazing stuff. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see it completed.

Straight 2WD rear.Well ..it will be again! I gotta figure out how to align the two different axle sizes all over again.Axles coming out from the tranny are 1 1/4" and the stubs on the axle extentions are 1" or I can cut back to new metal which is 1 7/6".Probably get the neighbor to machine up a coupla doohickies.Wife just doesn't understand how much fun this is.You just can't go out and buy something like this for $200!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
