I have inherited a homemade log splitter and want to know how much it is worth - how can I tell? It has a Tecumseh engine, it's on 2 wheels with a hitch, it's about 8 ft long and it has Prince Hydrollics 2500 PSI.

Need pics but if it works and is built well maybe $450. If it looks homemade and is a eye sore I would say $350. A factory made unit in my area brings $500-$600 used. They are a dime a dozen in my area. You can get a new 30 ton horizontal/vertical unit right now for $900 with the 10% off coupon at TSC if that gives you a idea.
