Since you wear hearing protection it is unlikely any noise reduction you add to the roof will reduce the need not to wear hearing protection. My cab had a similar material on the roof and I still needed hearing protection.

Do you have a windshield wiper on the front window, if not you will need one for sure.

Yankees Fan, I was hoping that the windshield would stay cool enough that snow wont stick to it. Might be wishful thinking, waiting on snow to blow to find out. I have been using the BX to move many cords of wood, and it has not fogged yet, but temps haven't been real cold.
I plan on wearing ear plugs AND ear muffs to aid in noise protection as I do when running chainsaw. My Husqvarna 288 barks pretty loud when at high rpms.

If you blow against the wind the snow will hit the windshield and melt, requiring a wiper. If your property is set up that it does not matter which direction you blow the snow you may get away without one. On my driveway I had one spot I had to blow into the wind so I did not hit the house with the snow. Given how much snow you get that decision will be coming soon.

Have fun.

"I made the roof removable, it is held on with only 4 bolts."

That makes it easy to adhere a sound 'carpet' to your ceiling. Also when you re bolt the roof the sound proof material would be sandwiched in place. (mine was done that way as well)
Felt would work, probably self adhesive roofing membrane would do a fine job as well.

A roof being a large area creates an echo chamber that amplifies noise besides actually 'drumming' simply due to vibration.

PILOON, the roof panel is creased in an "x" AKA known as broke. It doesn't drum, at least that I have noticed yet. As I stated before, I might try some blue styrofoam and just friction fit it up there to test.
My driveway is only 175 ft long, but the road to my hunting cabin that I utilize often in the winter, has a 1/4 mile road into it. Blowing that is going to take some seat time. Noise and vibration will be an issue then. I don't want to feel worn out before even getting in there. Once again, time will tell. I still have my 8ft plow for my truck, so there will be no problems getting in.
