Homemade 3pt Hitch Planter behind my LS MT125 Tractor Planting Corn and Beans Video

Good Morning All,
Rainy day here in West Tennessee. I got my garden tilled and planted just in time. I did a little video of prepping the garden and planting with my homemade 3pt hitch planter. It work better than I would have thought. It is built out of steel and built on the Earthway precision planter pattern. The fact that it is heavy and the tractor keeps it so steady is what makes it a success.

Was hard to tell from video, but why so many passes over same area with tiller? Looked like you went over same row several times at least. Not criticizing - just don't know.

Enjoy your videos, Tony. I know you were fighting clods a bit. It's always a tough call. Go in a tad early and make clods or put off your planting for better conditions which may or may not come.

Had to bust up some dirt clods. I tilled it a little wet the first time.

You said it! That was the first time it was dry enough for planting. Then 4 inches of rain in the last two days. Rain almost every day in the forecast.

Before I condensed my garden and went to mostly raised beds I was going to incorporate a similar planter with my hiller/bedder to make it an all in one attachment...

I have been around. Remolding a friends bathroom over the last few weeks. I have not been doing much outside due to the rain. We have had a super wet spring. I will try to get a few more things done if it ever drys out. More rain in the forecast.

I thought about building a hiller on the back of my tiller. I still may! I need dry weather first.
