I needed to remove fumes from various weld positions in my shop. I had an older craftsman base cabinet that I was done with and a 1 hp sawdust blower. I cut the bottom of the drawers out and left support for some rock filters. I purchased the fume tubes from someone on this forum and added lights. The most important part is what to do with the fumes. No, I couldn't figure a better way to filter and recirc the air so I blow the exhaust out a 4 inch flex tube and into a 4 inch pvc tube that I put under my floor before I poured the floor. It runs over to my exhaust room and into and thru another blower to outside. I have a wireless switch on that fan. The underground tube is about 35 feet long , that's why it has another fan. And I sometimes use it to suck the exhaust off my tractor when I run it in doors. The flex tube to the floor isn't connected in the pictures.
