I've just fabricated a carry all, based on the King cutter model from 20ft pipe of 3"x3" 1/4" thick steel. Not counting my time, it turned out to be a fairly economical build. I used a lincoln electric 175HD mig welder. It pushed it hard but I think that I managed to build something that will hold up to some hard work.

I modified the KC design and gave myself 4' forks instead of 3'. I'll primarily be using using this a poor mans palette forks for wood moving.

Nice job! I’m certain King only offers 3 foot forks to minimize the chance of bending or breaking due to leverage.

You will be fine if you’re careful. Just don’t use “just the tips” to pry or lift anything heavy.

My current plan is for moving palettes, so the weight should fall back into the corner. I also think if it's too long or awkward, I can always cut them down later.
