Sitting in the seat, add about 6" from the top of your head. (think my cab is about 3-4" clearance.)
Also be sure it clears your garage door opening (or shed).

Clearing a garage or shed door is probably the most important factor, but there's more than 3-4" clearance over my head in my cab. I'd have to measure to know the height on the inside but I can tell you my CK30 with Kioti cab easily fit into my 95" garage door opening and my DK45 is about 1/2 too tall. If I had to guess on the CK30, I'd say I had about 4" to spare, making it around 90-91" tall but there is a ceiling and a roof in those cabs so it's a bit lower on the inside of the tractor.

thanks fellows ,,, did some measuring today ,,total height under 80 inches so will go in garage if required

all ready for build ,,,still deciding on wood or metal framing ,, no welding experience ,that's why indecision

but thanks again for the input

total cost should be less that $700 so great for removable winter cab

Do bolts or rivets then. Metal is better.

This sounds like a great excuse to buy a welder and learn. A 180 amp might welder isn't terribly expensive and will serve you very well for all sorts of projects. YouTube has plenty of videos to get you welding like a pro in no time.
