I go to the stores with my wife too. Spend the obligatory 20 minutes and then say "Honey, take your time - I'll wait in the car."
Recline seat, take nap - and still get the brownie points for coming along!

For my wife "shopping" is the same as hunting is for the guys, the thrill of the chase is most of why she goes......
She seems almost depressed once the glow of buying something wears off, but then she's soon on another quest. I opted out of these safaris years ago, and now only go when it's something expensive and she want's my ok before she pulls the trigger, or needs the truck to haul home the booty.......

I once spent about an hour waiting for my wife in a Macy's lingerie department.
