I’m seeing north of 2 grand for a clean runner, so I will probably stick with the paltry & pathetic Stihl 661C, even though your saw will cut circles around it.
I am looking at clean used 661’s for ~$1,100.

New prices are insane now.

Honestly, I would have let it go for $1600 for you. That includes the bar and chain that are close to brand new...36 inch .404 chain.

How often do you come across a chainsaw with a motor bigger than a dirt bike.

But I get it...these things are stupid high. The Mcculloch 125 I wouldn't let go for less than 3k. I paid a guy to powdercoat everything on it for me.
