OK a few days ago I called Westshore and when I asked him what he was doing he said "I am scaring the #?*! out of myself on an incline." I laughed at him like he was a sissy. Well guess who is the sissy now. I found an area that looked real pretty to work today but it was down in the valley, i just found a slope and headed down and worked all day. When it was time to head back to the truck it was a different story. It was a little rocky with very loose soil. All she wanted to do was spin the tires and dig up those rocks. I could not go backwards and I could not go forwards either and with all four of those big tires digging she wanted to go sideways! I finally wiggled around until I could move the biggest rock with my hands and it slowly dug its way back up the hill. I am used to the 140 and 148, just point it and push the lever forward and that is where you go. Oh well lesson learned and I now know that I do not need the seatbelt...when I get into those situations I am able to cling to the cloth on the seat quite tightly!!

Thats scary when your getting stuck and sliding sideways at the same time. I have had that happen on both the 3720 and my yanmar.

THIS ONE, ONLY 150 HOURS!!!

im surprized that a machine with tires that big would loose traction. Especially with the fact that it has a bit of weight. does it have differential lock? my yanmar lost traction grading the driveway last night so i pressed the Differential lock and it pulled right out.

It was quite a steep hill. Yes, I had both ends locked up, all four were digging.

He he he. Yeah, many times there's been a near permanent "grip mark" on equipment seats I've used. :laughing: Old age has taught me to stay out of those situations, they make the machine too smelly...

You just need a bigger machine with more power. :laughing:
