Holder Tractor Snowmobile Trail Groomer

So we picked up a 60hp turbo diesel Holder tractor for $1200. We freed up the injection pump, replaced head gasket, and fitted it with a plow. We are just finishing some wheel spacer adapters to convert the holder bolt pattern to GMC/Chevy bolt pattern since we will be bolting on 4 tracks for grooming snowmobile trails. We are hoping to pull a 7'x20' drag with it. Just thought id share a neat project!

That's a pretty heavy drag for that machine. We pull a simular sized drag, but our groomer has 4x the amount of track and machine weight. Weight is important because it helps to put the power down to the ground.

I agree.. We do pull those drags with S10 Jimmys/Blazers/pickups. This machine actually weighs 6000lbs!

I have often thought of buying one, but one, dealers are non-existent, and two, most are terribly damaged by salt.

How "nice" are they to drive? Noisy? What about ease of entry/exit for a six foot guy dressed in winter attire?

Nothing beats articulation!
