Holder for Center Link

I was at a Kubota dealership this past weekend, and noticed that the slots in the rear fenders on a B2410( between the ROPS) are the same as my B7500. What brings this up is.... on the B2410 there is a piece of sheet metal that connects the two fenders and has a clip to hold up the center link. Has anyone tried to put this piece on a B7500? I spoke with the assemble guy, and he couldn't see a reason why it wouldn't work, but he said I would have to remove one of the fenders in order to slide the piece into both slots on the fenders.

Any ideas?

Looked at a 2410 and a 7500 today. The part numbers for the fenders are the same and the distance between the fenders look the same also. The only thing I'm not sure of is the hitch clearance, but probably not a problem. If you want to give it a try, the part number for the "stay, fender" is 6C0402-52750 should run you around 30 bucks.

I ordered the "stay fender" the first week of June, and it finally came in last week. This wasn't exactly a part the many places stock. I will try to get it installed this weekend and post some pics.
