Tractor
Yanmar YM186D & Ford LGT14D Dixon Z BX2200D Kubota
It all started about 17 years ago . Got a Snapper . Upgraded to a Craftsman . Next was an Ariens . Then an Ingersol . Later came a Mitsubishi . And then a Kubota . And then a Yanmar . When will it end ! ? It's an addiction . Now I'm thinkin' 'bout maybe a back hoe . Good thing there's TBN or I would need counciling .

I don't understand why you would say that. It appears to me that you are very well adjusted! I'm working on getting better myself, maybe add a 45HP to my 21HP. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif John

Uh OH! I just see one flaw in your mental armour. You don't have ONE tractor there with industrial tires. You must correct this ASAP, and I don't mean by trading out current tires. You MUST buy another tractor equipped with R4's or I fear for you sanity! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif John

The counselling part is required because you still have them all.......that just plain ain't fair /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Actually, you make a lot of sense. I don't know if you watch New Yankee Workshop, but Norm has a router for every router bit. He never has to set anything up because he just gets another router.

With your brood there, you could have a tractor for every implement and never have to change implements, just bring out the other tractor.

Yep.. classic tractoritis.... Youv'e been infected... and have had it too long to 'go back'. I believe it is both 'acute' and 'chronic'. Ironically.. the only treatment is .. well... more tractors and equipment... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don't worry.. you're in good company... think of this as a big virtual-tractor-leper colony... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Does your collection of attachments match the size of the fleet? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'm not going to help you cure your addiction. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
We need pictures of the attachments. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think the difference is that Norm get sponsors and promotional equipment.....we all have to buy our toys.

A tractor for every implement, forget oiling the hitch balls or quick hitch systems. Need a lot of sheds though, maybe a couple of acres worth /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Backhoe, huh? Let me council you a little. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here's a real gem of an old hoe. It is on Machinery Trader. Ever since I have been checking out the site, this thing has been on it. It has been listed for sale for at least 2 years now. It is 16 tons with R4s! You can kill two birds with one stone. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif It digs 21 feet, 4x4, 36" bucket. It even got cleaned up and a new paintjob since it has been listed. Looks like you need to add it to your fleet. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Did you notice that from the first picture left column, to the last pic, left column, the paint got a lot better? John

The whole bottom row of photos shows the machine cleaned up with a new paint job. I mentioned that in my description. It also mentioned that in the description on the Machinery Trader site. One thing it doesn't mention, is that when it was first listed they wanted $11,000 for it. Since it wasn't selling they must have figured it would be best to clean it up, paint it, and charge $4,000 more. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Yes you did mention that JayC, and I read it, but it didn't sink in! That was sure an expensive paint job! John

I am very lucky to have an understanding wife.
Thanks for all the "support". Truely is a good bunch of guys (and gals) here .
I think the loader/back hoe on Equipment Trader is a bit large for my needs .
After all your responses , I guess maybe my "problem" isn't too bad yet . As you can see I am not partial to any one brand . They're all good in my book .
