Hinomoto MB - diff locked? How to unlock?

Hello I have a blue MB1100 I believe, I am having trouble doing tight circles and I realized my diff is permantenly locked - how do I tell if my diff can be locked/unlock?


I can't find a lever or button or anything that appears to engage the diff

Maybe it is just always locked?

Any advice would be appreciated I can post pictures but I'm not sure what pictures would be helpful

You have one of those gems? I had one a couple years ago. That thing was really cool. The piston was so massive that the tractor would bump up and down at idle!

Now for your problem, those tractor don't have a differential. They have a system tied to the steering wheel, that whenever you turn the steering wheel, it will disengage one of the wheels so you can make tight turns.

You should see 2 linkages on top of the transmission, I believe as I had mine like 15 years ago. Check if they came lose or a pin that might fall off.
