pump is making noise and creeping up and not responding at all sometimes. seems like getting preasure/fluid then not appears to be starving for oil...has 675 hrs. it always had some noise in pump just when lifting only. but always worked befor!!! had 3 yrs now and just put pto seal in. it has lots of fluid, not low at all. dont have any manual or book..does this have a pick up strainer/screen at all and if were location. Filter location? have looked but seem to see any. Any help would be great..and or a location to find something on this on the Net. This could be just a simple problem or a total replacement of pump that I dont need at this time..

I have an AC 5020 which is somewhat similar to an E-23 and I do have a strainer/filter on my machine, its location is on the left side ( clutch pedal side ). Mine is a round plate with 2 bolts holding the cover on, basically located on the opposite side/level of the suction line, obviously you need to drain the fliud to remove it from the machine, it serves as both a filter and strainer on the 5020. Hope it helps and its just a clogged filter/strainer,, good luck.
