Lots of snow in Northeast Indiana this year. My driveway is sitting directly where all the snow blowing across the fields dumps.

But this has been my winter:

So I started the hillbilly snow fence experiment:

A line of pallets out in the field. The hope is that they will disrupt the wind flow and drop the snow just past the pallets and not on my drive. This isn't enough to make much difference right now, but if it works I can to find some more pallets and make a long line.
However it may be that this experiment is short lived:

The cows are pleased with the new scratching posts I supplied. They may all be knocked over before I get any results.
