I just saw this add on traction wheels in India. The outfit apparently does brisk business. You might see stacks of rims ready to be welded into traction wheels. Looks like every farmer in the area has the dump trailer, rice field plough and traction wheels made by those guys. They make two variants: One is attached to the side of the rear tires and the other goes over the tires.

Similar tires are used in Amish country. Ride is too rough on pavement but ok on earth. Allows them to fit tractors into their lifestyle as work machines but not transportation. MikeD74T

My Isekis came from the rice patties in China & had the solid steel folding curved paddles on them , I never figured I,d have the need for them so I sold them for scrap I wished I would have took a few pictures first though . Bob
