HID LED lights for Plowing

We used them in Iraq for IED's and I believe they were HID's. I am sure they make LEDs as well. Its the company that makes lights for your off-road vehicles, jeeps, etc. Very bright and very pricey I am sure

Maxxima makes a very good light - we have a set on one of our tractors and they work very well. Local tow truck parts company sells them here and the sell a lot of them to tow truck drivers and also put them on the custom rigs they build.

I would use HID or LED.

There are so many companies that I like to see who has used what.

THe HID are pricey but less than 2 sets of Hella's.

Trying to convert Lumens to CP is a whole separate issue that is above my pay grade.

I have a M 6800 and plow and do work at night. I installed a pair of Truck-Lites LED (spots on front, floods on rear) and switched them with lighted Kubota switches. I am very happy with them and they work great. Plenty bright. They were a little pricey, I think about $100 each.
