Thanks, this is my first tractor, very happy with it so far. I got it to do a major clean up on a new property that was very very overgrown & have been amazed at what you can achieve with the right machinery.

I don't have a tractor yet I'm looking one buy one in early April. Am looking at Kioti 551C but also new Kioti RX6010 or Massey 1660, Case Maxxfarm 60, JX60 .... something around 60 HP.

Hi Mike, we just got one of the new rx6010 into stock and gotta say it's my most favorite kioti yet! Awesome to drive and the transmission is so smooth! Without sounding biased, b carefully of the case, hearing about lots of problems once they get a few hours on them deffanantly stay away from Jx, they still Have oil pump issues. The massys are ok, but they are just a rebadged LS which from our experience have been good cheap tractors. My money would be on the kioti!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. To answer a couple of questions, I'm in the upper Yarra valley in Victoria. I use the tractor for everything I can( I've even used it to put the bins out using the FEL, just because I could!). It's main use so far has been cleaning up previously cleared areas that had become overgrown. I put 50hrs on it within 2/3 months of owning it! The dealership couldn't believe the first service came up so quick after delivery. I used a 6ft mulching mower to cut down "trees" as tall as 3m & 75mm dia & other scrub/bracken fern & blackberry patches as high as the bonnet. Amazing what this mower & tractor will do with out complaining. As well as grading the driveway & tracks on the property, putting fence posts in, excavated an area for the kids playground, and a heap of other things I never thought you would do with a tractor. I've even dragged a couple of 20ft shipping containers around(what a good job they do leveling the tracks!!) It is an essential piece of machinery & couldn't be more pleased with it.

Thanks for the advice. I am actually amazed at the range of tractors available in Australia. I have had to do a large spreadsheet of the features and specs and models and lots of homework on the internet. It's like buying a car
