Thanks for the welcome everyone. i'm on wifi and limited, @ wagtail, I'm actually in the process of selling and moving to Ringarooma, I will need a tractor down there and noticed there aren't many options second hand, would you say that's true or do I need to just get down there and look around then? I was thinking of a 50/70 hp, aircab, 4x4 slasher 4/1 bucket, i'll only be on 50 acres but theres some hilly sections and want to be able to slash whenever I need to and maybe pickup some extra work around.
that's the plan anyway, any local knowledge is appreciated.
cheers RC.

Beautiful valley, Ringarooma! It's 'just' over the tier from Pynegana. You'll love it, and don't believe the tales about "if your not 6th generation, you're a blow-in". The truth is that if you've thrown your lot in with us, you are one of us. Just being a good neighbour is all that it takes to be accepted in the community.

You can personal email me (info via my TBN profile) regarding the local tractor scene. It's a little State and the tractor dealerships are centrally located... pretty much in Longford, although a new bloke is advertising in Launie. As to the 'previously loved' tractor market... I don't have a clue.

If you can make it down for the 5th, 6th and/or 7th of May the States biggest (only?) annual agriculture fair "AGFEST" will be on. Every dealership will be represented.
