Hello I'm new here, I'm looking getting my 1st lawn tractor. Not sure yet on what I'm looking. New or used. I have 1.5 acres I been using a push mower. Getting to old for this.
I did look at few in Home Depot but not sure on buying 1 of them. 2 guy's came in and was not to happy about the 1's they bought and warranty. I new to this and no nothing about them or to never drove 1.

To TBN. How much of the 1.5 acres do you normally mow? Is the land flat, hilly, or what? Are you looking for speed to get finished quickly?

Small hill but mostly flat. I think going to try for I used lawn tractor. 1 craftsman LT 1000 42" cut 18hp not sure of the year, - 2 yard-man 42" cut 20hp, 3- Cub Cadet Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor, LT1018, 42" cutting width
Briggs&Stratton 31Q777-0305 18.5 HP engine, - 4 John deere 216 16hp 42" cut, - 5 John Deere Made (Scott's) Hydrostatic Drive 16 Horse Power 42 Inch Cut Lawn Tractor, 5 -

Witch 1 guy's you thinking i should buy the pricing range from 450 to 550. all seem to be in good shape. I no nothing about them or use 1 before. "O" man that john deere look sweet though.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Chances are that the lawn tractor that is bought from a tractor dealership, even a used one, will be backed by that dealership. What you call a 'box store' wouldn't personally back that product in house, so if you've got a problem or an issue... you're on your own.
