Ok guys, I've been lurking around here for a few weeks now.
I'm just about bursting at the seams I'm so excited about getting my first tractor!
I just spoke with my dealer, and we've got a delivery range narrowed down!
He said I'll have it in my yard by the end of Jan.
It started like this...I was talking with the wife in the hottub before Christmas, and just brought up the idea of maybe looking at a tractor to help us with the land at our new house. I've got 4 wooded acres, and 2 acres that are open.
To my surprise, she was supportive of the idea, and even said we shouldn't skimp, but get a new one, and a better quality one.
Well my shopping and research led me to a new Massey GC2610. Loader, Backhoe, 60"MMM, a tiller, and a PHD.
Price is 23,400 + the post hole digger. I'm trading away my old Ariens GT17 for $500. With 0% fi, my pmts will be just under 400.
Having trouble picking the tires. Dealer said I could take del w/ turf tires, and if I want to later he'll swap 'em for r4's.
Seems like a very supportive dealer.
So... now I'm chomping at the bit to get it. I have never seen the tractor in person, just a lot of research online.
Sometime in the next 3 weeks!!!!
