Does not compute. It's given the title of Slip Clutch, but the bullets describe an ORC (over-running clutch). Note especially the one about using on tractos with "single action clutch". I don't see any friction discs either. So I'm not really sure what that thing is. I wish there was a HF store closer to me, so that I could actually examine one in person.

Oh yes good point. I went read the PDF manual and looks to be a slip disk.Maybe just a goof up of terminology?
I agree definitely something that would be nice to see and hold ahead of time.
I purchased mine and it looks almost the same from Ag supply for 89 dollars I remember.this is probably the knock of version.I wonder what the diameter is also. maybe its slightly smaller..

Thanks, I missed that little PDF link. I've extracted the parts diagram below, it's definitely of a slip clutch. So you're probably correct about the error being that of the wrong product (ORC) description. But no wonder I couldn't see the friction discs. They - and the center pressure plate - seem pretty small compared to my $150 Eurocardan (the yellow diagram). The HF manual indicates it can't be accurately adjusted to match PTO horsepower either. But for only $60, I might consider test-driving one on my five foot rotary cutter.

I agree on the test drive they do have a generous return policy. And if it works OK for that price ,what better advertising than from TBN owners.
Alwasy hard to tell from diagrams and descriptions. A few things from HF arent as I thought they would be.but then thats another thread LOL
