sorry for the wait. been crazy last few. i have 1 to 2 acers

and thank you for the warm welcome. i found a farmette file off of google for a wood frame set up using a side shaft 8 hps. but i would love to just find some thing like a Bolens Ride-a-matic or a IH cub cadet or some thing small like that. i have a case 430 with a front end loader and box blade. but its a friends and just too big for what i want.

Skip wood. Go for steel frame. With your work you decided I think you would rip a wood after a while

2×4 or you could use 6 in C channal
