Hey everyone I am new to owning tractors. I own a what I believe to be a 2n and just recently purchased a 961D. Im definitely what you would call green when it comes to tractor maintenance. I just ordered the shop manual for the 961 and hope I can lean on you guys from time to time with questions. The 961 is being delivered Sunday! I love my smaller N series tractor but I have about 1000 of driveway to plow in MN and figured I better upsize.

It was like that. I just bought it yesterday and it痴 gettig delivered Sunday

I embarrassed to say I don’t even know. I didn’t think to ask that. It is being delivered Sunday! I test drove it and tried all of the gears...runs super smooth. 3 pt had fast response and the PTO seemed to work fine as well. Again I am super green as far as tractor knowledge. Grew up in the sticks but was never exposed to tractor maintenance even though the old man did have an old 8n for grading the driveway. I had to leave my small town to make a living in Minneapolis. I finally was able to buy 20 acres and am just finishing the house I am building now. I move out to my property at the end of this month full time. Super excited for the next chapter of life. Especially with this beaut of a tractor I found. I do have a little 9n or 2n not sure exactly but it lacks the power I need for the projects I am planning. The photo is of my new property. I absolutely love it.


Oh yeah got married recently too almost forgot lol.
