you have to be kidding, your tractor can handel the biggest round bails without any counter weight with no problem. my 4500 2wd can do that.

Tim I believe you. Like I said the only thing you are doing different is the bale carrier vs the bale spear on the back. You need to do one of two things. Make the bales smaller or load the rear tires. If they are getting that big I wouldn't even try lifting without one on the back.
One last question, are you using a QA front spear or attaching directly to the bucket?
