I really like that shade of red. That's a really nice looking tractor.
Sure you can ask.
1. It wouldn't fit in my enclosed trailer when I picked it up so it came off then.
2. It won't fit in my shed which has a 7' door on it.
3. My yard is fairly flat (other then the bumpy ground - that's why I roll it) so I'm not worried about
tipping the unit over.
I was on the Kobota site before I made the final decision to get the RK 24, and they showed how many of their models
were garage friendly with the ROPS up. Not sure why they had to make the RK units so tall. Was there NO WAY to make
it safe with a shorter ROPS and still be safe?
Like you I also bought the canopy and I'm considering cutting down the ROPS so I can use the canopy and get in my shed.
I have to put the ROPS on with the canopy to see how much I would need to lower it before I make a final decision.
I know some may say how unsafe that would be and void my warranty etc. but if I don't, I'll have a useless piece of expensive plastic
sitting around doing nothing except taking up space.
I bought the canopy for sun protection as we all know how dangerous UV rays are, so it thought it would be worth it to have one.
What's the cool looking attachment you have going there?Don't always roll lawn but, never remove loader - use it to carry sticks, limbs, other lawn debris. Also use it to fetch fill from dirt pile if I encounter a "pothole"
Looks like a suspended deck RK maybe similar or the video maybe worthless to you.
How to level a Mower Deck | Fantastic tool! - YouTube
I took the advice here and removed the FEL to mow and of course you can't mow with the backhoe on so I removed that too.

Why not? I have.
My yard is almost all hills, very little level ground. I keep the BH off for the most part due to those hills, but I can and have mowed some more level areas of a neighbor's place with the BH on. If I had more level ground and you say you do, I may leave the BH on most of the time unless I need another implement back there.
