Just got new B-2910 with a 72" MMM....have had a B-8200 HST with a 60" MMM for 19 years and it cuts BETTER than when I first got it new....Here is why...I use what I call " CROSSED BLADES "..That is...6 blades instead of 3....crossed at right angles!...I cut at 7 " to 8" in the transport mode...to make grass roots go deeper....grass is so thick you would not believe it...I use this because it gives me much more lifting power for cutting at that height.......I also HOLLOW GRIND my blades....that means at an angle of less than 21 degrees......This is very sharpe and it makes the clippings comming out of shute so small the just disappear into lawn.....There are many other things I think I can tell you guys here about things I have done to make my grass cutting capabilities better...I am looking forward to that!
